About the MJP Experience

In addition to providing you with stunning imagery, it's also my top priority to make your entire experience with me the best one possible. I will walk you through the entire process, help plan session locations and outfits that fit your personality, and be there to answer any questions or concerns all along the way!

The #1 thing that sets me apart is my Wedding Wing Woman service, which means I'm there to help you with anything wedding related! Need vendor recommendations? Can't decide which shoes to wear? Need someone to remind you that the color of your napkins isn't going to make or break the day? I've got you! Let my experience in the wedding industry make your planning experience as smooth as possible! I'm also a great sounding board when your fiance just can't listen to anymore wedding talk!

After your session, some photographers will provide digital files and then send you on your way. Not at MJP. When you make the investment in hiring a professional photographer, it means that you're wanting to preserve those memories for future generations, and technology changes so fast that digital files just aren't a long term solution. While I do include digital files in packages, I am passionate about providing top quality products that my clients can trust will last beyond a lifetime. I'll help you choose the right products and images for your home, make suggestions for customization, and make what can be an overwhelming process as simple as possible. About Michelle Jahns Photography

MJP is a fully licensed and insured business operating out of Saint Louis, Missouri, and I am obsessed with staying on top of the latest and greatest trends, technology, and education. I stay up to date on my CPR and First Aid certification and am even a registered Minister through the Universal Life Church, just in case my couples need a last minute officiant (ask me about the true story that inspired this!).

I'm also a member of the Professional Photographers of America and am an active member of the photography community in St Louis.

About Michelle

I always knew I would own a business of some kind someday, but with over 17 years in retail management, I never imagined it would be a photography business and that I would love it SO. MUCH. I've been a 'memory junkie' since I was a kid, always rewatching home videos, flipping through photo albums, and creating slideshows for birthday parties. Growing up, we had a family tradition where one of our Christmas gifts was a calendar for the next year, and I ALWAYS requested an Anne Geddes calendar (you know, the photographer that created super adorable photos of babies in flower pots or little animal costumes). One of my first jobs was even in a one hour photo lab! Looking back, all the signs were there, it just took me a hot minute to put them all together!

When I'm not photographing or master planning the business side of things, I'm usually at home snuggled up with my pups, Rowdy, Remy, & Giselle! #crazydoglady I love all things bright, colorful, and sparkly....Lisa Frank is 100% my spirit animal. There will always be a special place in my heart for boy bands (#teamNSYNC), but I'll bust a move to pretty much anything, especially during a reception!
